I am a US Citizen and have lived in Spain 5.5 years. In 2015 I successfully applied for a Spanish Entrepreneur Visa. Two years later I renewed it as a Spanish Freelance Visa, and have renewed that successfully.

 

In 2015, while I was waiting for my Spanish Entrepreneur Visa to be processed, I was approached by tech.eu and asked to write a blog post about my experience. Tech.eu is a blog for entrepreneurs in tech. Back then, there was almost no information about the Spanish Entrepreneur Visa as it was quite new. So new, in fact, that when I went to register myself as a freelancer with the authorities, and ask for information about how to renew my visa, the authorities weren’t even aware that the Spanish Entrepreneur Visa existed.

 

Because there wasn’t other information available, and very few Spanish lawyers knew how to apply for an Entrepreneur Visa, many people read that blog post and asked for my help. Some of them even paid me to write business plans for them and apply for the visa directly. Thus, I have advised scores of people on how to get Spanish Entrepreneur and Spanish Freelance Visas. Many of them have had successful applications.
